COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will facilitate students learning and enacting communication-centered practices associated with leadership and teamwork in organizations. The course introduces students to the key theories, research findings, and real world applications involved in hiring and socializing new employees, supervising and leading employees, team dynamics, coordination within and between organizations, organization-wide change, and communication competences.

Courses

This online masters of arts program requires nine courses (30 credits) and a capstone project. Courses are taught by leading communications faculty and re-tooled to provide an excellent learning experience, allowing students the flexibility they need to accommodate a busy life.
